Build-A-Bear Winter Pages. Meet Santa and Mother Claus.

These are three of the pages we made at my last Build-a-Bear Scrap class.

I used the Stampin' Up! Double Sided Paper Merry Moments with  the coordinating cardstocks - Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White, Black. 

I really like the embosslits bears.  It's easy to use since you can emboss and cut the cardstocks with one step.

Build-a-Bear Summer Pages. Very cute! Everyone loved the bears.

These are two of the pages we made at my last Build-a-Bear Scrap class.

I used the Double Sided Paper Pink Flamingo with  the coordinating cardstocks - Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Summer Sun. The background papers  I used are so pretty to cover, so, I cut around the images and overlap them on my mat.

FAQ:

Q: If I cannot attend, can I still make one?

A: Yes. If you cannot attend, your kit will be shipped to you.   Pick your options, register, and mention "virtual class".  Shipping and handling are included in the price.

 

Q: What's included in the kit?A: Your kit includes all the cardstocks, Double Sided Designer Series Paper (DSP), thread, needle, and accessories. Detailed instruction sheets will also be provided to you.

 

Q: Do I need to bring anything?

A: Bring a pair of scissor and adhesives.  The rest of the supplies including use of stamps and tools will be provided at the class.

 

Q: Can I register a friend with me?

A: Yes.  When you do, you will receive a $5 gift certificate at the class for every friend you register.

 

Q: Can I register two or more kits?

A:  Yes. Pick Option 2 when you register and pay for 2 kits for only $50.   That's a savings of $20.

 

Q: When I order online, will the project be completed when I receive it in the mail?

A: You will receive 1 unassembled kit with detailed instruction sheets.  All the cardstocks will be precut and accessories will be included. When you order 2 kits for $50, I will make one of the kits for you.

 

Q: Can I pick my own DSP paper?

A.  Your choices are Manchester DSP or Tea Party. Use the online registration and indicate if you like the Manchester and/or Tea Party DSP.

Star Album - A Class Gift To A Great Teacher

I helped the third grade class make this star album for their teacher. Mrs. Stahlheber loved her end of the year gift.

For this project, I used:

cardstocks: white, bashful blue, black, real red (designer paper was a gift from a friend).

accessories: jumbo eyelet, crop-a-dile, pop-up glue dots, grosgrain ribbon, hodgepodge hardware paper clip. piercing tool kit, wax thread

The students wrote a thank you note to their teacher on the back of their picture. I enclosed their pictures in the pockets and glued the class pictures on the pages.

The Future Of Our Country, Happy 4th of July!

I would like to share with you the 4th of July scrapbook pages I made of my son, Sammy.  Here are his pictures when he received his Principal's Award in 3rd Grade.  I am so proud.  As a parent, I believe that one of the ways I can honor my country is to give my child the guidance he needs to do his best.   He is the future of our country.   Thanks to his great teachers in Corona Ranch for challenging him and giving him the education he deserves.  Happy 4th!

I still have a few of these Mickey kits left.   You can easily assemble your pages together with your SNAIL adhesive and scissors.   It will be helpful to have minigluedots, pop-up glue dots, and Crop-A-Dile to assemble the jumbo eyelets.

Life's A Breeze Scrapbook Page

This scrapbook page features the photos taken from our Stampin' Up! cruise last year. 

Notice how this page opens to reveal the hidden journaling.

This is the second page of our photos taken at Half Moon Cay, Bahamas -   Holland America's private island.  My son took this picture of our feet as we were relaxing on the beach.  When I look at these pictures, I can still feel the wind on my face and the sand under my feet- as white and fine as powdered sugar.  Aaaaah!  I hope to go back there someday.

I used Life's a Breeze stamp set and the Something Fishy jumbo wheel.  The jumbo wheel is free when you order the bundle this month- April 2008.  Click here to see the other free jumbo wheels.

Summer Simply Scrappin' Kit

These pictures were taken in Aruba when Stampin' Up! treated us to a week-long cruise last year.   Our cruise ship also went to the Bahamas, Panama Canal, and other fun places.    I love these pictures because my son's clothes matches the beautiful colors of the butterflies and most importantly the Simply Scrappin' Kit - Summer Days I used to create these pages.  Can you guess how I made the butterflies?  That's right!... I cut two of the petals from the diecut flowers and added the stems.  I also used the matted picture on the first page as a pocket for the extra pictures since I have no room for.
