I made these for my friend Teresa who is graduating from Laverne University this year.

I love the simplicity of this (already diecut) mini cards  with matching envelopes.  

It came in handy for the quick thank yous.

Card- Chipboard Star with Glitter

I made these Thank You cards to give to friends and relatives who gave me gifts on my birthday.  

 

Closer look ...

 

Supplies I used ...

 

First, ink Chipboard. Use Craft (pigment ink) ...

  

Corner punch for the background ...

 

Stampin'  Around Jumbo Stamp Wheel ...

 

Small Star Punch ...

 

Large Star Punch ...

 

Double Sided Sticky Tape ...

 

Silver Glitter ...

 

A little more ...


 

Tombo Liquid Glue ...

 

Stick it ...

 

Liquid glue in the middle ...

 

Add red glitter ...

 

Stamp "Wish ..." words ...

Multi-Pocket Card Using Double Sided Designer Paper

 

Here is how I made it ...

Start with ah 8 1/2 x 11 Double Sided Designer Paper.

Fold as shown...

 

Fold front to create a triangle ...

Open and score ...

Trim on the halfway horizontal fold and triangle folds ...

Fold from left to right ...

 

Glue sides and bottom.  Add embellishments.  Insert tags or note cards. 

Enjoy!

 

Card - Scented Popsicles

 Yummm!  It smells delicious too!

 

Cut a quarter of cardstock. Fold. Cut 1/8" for the white. Corner punch...

 

Stamp ...

 

Crimp ...

 

Punch right corner with scallop punch ...

 

 

Insert popsicle stick through punch hole ...

 

Mix equal amounts of clear embossing powder and Kool Aid (choose the flavor you like) ...

 

Stamp with fruit stamp and pigment ink (aka craft ink), sprinkle the embossing powder mixture, heat emboss...

 

 

Ready to send ...

Card- Frosted Summer Cup

Ready for summer?

This is quite easy to make.

First, get a small cup and trace a pattern ...

Trace the pattern on vellu, cut,  and sponge with ink...

Apply double sided sticky tape on top ...

Dredge in micro beads ...

Fold sides 1/4", and adhere cup to card with double sided sticky tape.

Add embellishments such as a paper umbrella.

Crisscross Card - Game Night

I made this card as invite for game night ...

 

I used the disposal cardboard coaster I got from a local restaurant (Red Robin)... 

 

I started with half a sheet of red and black cardstocks. 

Folded in half, then I cut it diagonal from the middle...

Adhere the rectangle parts together...

 

 

I added the printed cardstocks cut 1/4" smaller to each right triangle...

 

Folded it so the triangles overlap.  This will be your front part ... 

Glue the front...

 

I added the band to wrap around ...

 

Embossed Butterfly Card

I love butterflies...

 

It looks like it's fluttering...

 

I started with these papers ...

 

Then ... after cutting and layering ...

I cut 1" strips of the printed paper ...

 

Trimmed to fit ...

 

To emboss, sandwich the colored cardstock between the Sizzix embossing folder  and run it through the Big Shots embossing machine...

 

Cut different sizes of butterflies through the diecut and Big Shots ...

 

 

Viola!  Butterfly!

 

Just added the embellishments, stamp the words.    My thank you card is done!

Friend Embossed Card

I made this for a friend on her birthday.

I started with ths focal point.

 

Then added the background layers ...
